Job Summary
A company is looking for a Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative assistance in a legal office.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize legal documents and create new matters using legal software
- Research and compose responses to inquiries from insureds, claimants, attorneys, and regulatory agencies
- Schedule hearings and depositions for attorneys and maintain their files
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of legal secretarial experience or 1 year as a Legal Secretary Trainee
- High school diploma required
- Proficient in PC usage, including Word and Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and legal document composition
- Ability to work remotely with monthly office attendance for meetings and reporting
