Job Summary

To ensure ongoing compliance with ADA standards, the part-time contract California Licensed Accessibility Specialist will implement accessibility improvements, correct web accessibility issues, and provide training to agency staff, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities
  • Correct accessibility issues including alt text, keyboard navigation, and multimedia captions
  • Develop training materials and conduct live training sessions with agency staff
  • Provide recommendations for ongoing monitoring and technical support to maintain accessibility compliance
Required qualifications
  • Experience with web remediation and accessibility best practices
  • Knowledge of semantic HTML, accessible forms, and PDF accessibility standards
  • Ability to conduct training and produce training materials
  • Licensed to work in California (if required by law)
