California Licensed Accountant II

Job Summary

Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, the full-time hourly California Licensed Accountant II will collaborate with the Corporate Accounting team to maintain reliable reporting, strong controls, and timely insights in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the general ledger and financial reporting are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with GAAP
• Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls related to general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 or more years of accounting or related experience
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to accounting within financial institutions
