California Licensed Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

California Licensed Accounting Analyst is a remote, contract position focused on operational accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities, with an initial duration of 18+ months.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries including accruals, prepaids, intercompany, and fixed asset entries
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
• Support fixed assets, banking reconciliations, project accounting, and property accounting activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of recent operational accounting experience in large or complex organizations
• Strong technical accounting and GAAP knowledge
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Advanced Excel skills required; Workday ERP experience strongly preferred
