Job Summary

Providing management oversight and technical expertise, the full-time salaried California Licensed Accounting Manager in Fringe Benefits & Payroll Banking will ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll-related financial activities while overseeing a team and managing fringe benefit accounting and payroll banking operations in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees fringe benefit accounting for a high-volume employee population, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of deductions, liabilities, and reconciliations
• Leads internal and external audit engagements, ensuring data integrity and addressing audit findings to drive process improvements
• Coaches and develops a team of five Accounting and Payroll staff, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Five years of relevant professional experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience handling large, complex datasets
• Experience managing, supervising, or leading accounting professionals
