California Licensed Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a growing Not-for-Profit practice, the full-time California Licensed Accounting Supervisor will deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, focusing on fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational support for nonprofit clients in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations for nonprofit clients, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Assist with fund accounting, tracking restricted and unrestricted funds, and supporting grant and donor reporting
• Prepare and review financial reports for internal use and client stakeholders, while supporting year-end processes and audit preparations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-6+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to nonprofit or fund accounting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Familiarity with fund accounting concepts, including restricted vs. unrestricted funds
• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct
