Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative-Sub-Acute, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate billing and collections from insurance carriers and private payers for sub-acute services
• Handle insurance billing and collections with a focus on Medicare and Medi-Cal
• Support the revenue cycle by ensuring compliance with billing regulations and practices

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in a healthcare environment focused on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office/medical billing is preferred
• Familiarity with Epic software is a plus
