California Licensed Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate billing and collections for equipment and services, the full-time California Licensed Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage payments from insurance carriers and agencies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing and collections for various service lines including Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care
• Ensure compliance with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes

Required qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience in healthcare billing and follow-up focused on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Knowledge of medical billing software such as Point Click Care, ECS, or MatrixCare is preferred
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office or medical billing is a plus
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care billing is advantageous
