California Licensed Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing financial risks and producing actuarial models, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will support internal and external reserve analyses, collaborate on data engineering projects, and ensure compliance with audit requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external reserve analyses across multiple property/casualty insurance lines
• Produce financial forecasts and expense allocations to support captive pricing and insurance program budgets
• Develop advanced actuarial models and assist with the interpretation of product line performance and risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field
• Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty industry
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
• Experience with databases and spreadsheets
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations
