Job Summary
Analyzing financial risks and producing actuarial models, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will support commercial insurance programs and compliance efforts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external reserve analyses across multiple property/casualty insurance lines
- Produce financial forecasts and expense allocations to support captive pricing and insurance program budgets
- Develop advanced actuarial models and validate results using in-house software
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Experience in developing actuarial documentation for financial reports and tax returns
- Proficiency in actuarial research and advanced actuarial methods
