Job Summary
To analyze financial risk and produce actuarial models, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will conduct internal and external reserve analyses across multiple property/casualty insurance lines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and interpret analyses of product line financials, pricing, reserves, and cash flow
- Develop and design advanced actuarial models and documentation for financial reports and tax returns
- Support data engineering and automation efforts while ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field and a minimum of six (6) years of actuarial experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
