Job Summary
Analyzing financial risks and producing actuarial models, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will support internal and external reserve analyses, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with audit standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external reserve analyses across multiple property/casualty insurance lines
- Develop and design advanced actuarial documentation and models to support financial forecasts and compliance
- Collaborate with business partners to translate actuarial findings into actionable recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets
- Ability to apply advanced actuarial methods and conduct complex analyses
