Job Summary
To support financial risk analysis, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will analyze actuarial data and models, perform reserve analyses across property/casualty insurance lines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external reserve analyses and produce actuarial reports and models
- Support data engineering and automation efforts across multiple claims data sources
- Develop and design advanced actuarial documentation and models for financial forecasts and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience, with at least one (1) year in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets
- Ability to conduct actuarial analyses and interpret financial risks and opportunities
