Job Summary

To support financial risk analysis and actuarial modeling, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will analyze financial risks, produce actuarial data and reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze financial risks and opportunities using advanced actuarial methods and produce actuarial models and analyses
  • Support data engineering and automation efforts across multiple claims data sources while ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate mathematical constructs into actionable recommendations and develop actuarial documentation for financial reports
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
  • Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience, with at least one (1) year in the property and casualty industry
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and solve complex problems
