Job Summary
To support financial risk analysis, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will produce actuarial data and models, conduct reserve analyses across property/casualty insurance lines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial risks and opportunities using advanced actuarial methods and produce financial forecasts
- Develop and design actuarial documentation and models, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Support data engineering and automation efforts while collaborating with business partners to translate analyses into actionable recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of actuarial experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets
