Job Summary
To support the analysis of financial risk, the full-time California Licensed Actuarial Analyst will produce actuarial data and reports, develop advanced actuarial models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and assess financial risks and opportunities using advanced actuarial methods
- Produce analytics and financial forecasts to support commercial insurance programs and budgets
- Develop and design actuarial documentation for financial reports and regulatory compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty industry
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Experience in developing actuarial models and conducting financial analysis
- Proficiency with databases and spreadsheets
