Job Summary
A company is looking for an Actuary Manager who will leverage healthcare and actuarial expertise to manage a team and contribute to value-based care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for estimating liabilities and assist in quarterly earnings reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting through P&L models and analyze healthcare utilization patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various actuarial projects and ad hoc analyses
Required Qualifications
- FSA or ASA credentials
- 5+ years of experience in actuarial roles, with 1+ years in value-based care or related fields
- Strong reserving skills and some experience in forecasting/pricing
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Experience producing public financial reports and working in the California healthcare market
