Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuary Manager who will leverage healthcare and actuarial expertise to manage a team and contribute to value-based care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models for estimating liabilities and assist in quarterly earnings reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting through P&L models and analyze healthcare utilization patterns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various actuarial projects and ad hoc analyses
Required Qualifications
  • FSA or ASA credentials
  • 5+ years of experience in actuarial roles, with 1+ years in value-based care or related fields
  • Strong reserving skills and some experience in forecasting/pricing
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Experience producing public financial reports and working in the California healthcare market
