California Licensed Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning in the Social and Behavioral Sciences, the part-time California Licensed Adjunct Instructor will teach synchronous online courses, plan engaging instructional strategies, and ensure compliance with college policies while working remotely from California.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and organize synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams to maximize student engagement
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional policies
• Continuously develop subject matter expertise and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 18 units in the subject being taught
• Three years of experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience
• Appropriate credential, license, or certification for the subject area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning technologies such as Canvas
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and fostering an inclusive learning environment
