Job Summary
To support a growing mental health organization, the full-time California Licensed Admissions Counselor will manage the admissions and financial clearance process for new clients, ensuring timely access to care while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries about the facility and available programs
- Verify insurance benefits and confirm active coverage before admission
- Schedule and complete pre-admission assessments, maintaining accurate medical record documentation
Required qualifications
- Previous experience in admissions, client finance, or insurance verification preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Compassionate, solution-oriented approach with a focus on client well-being
- Must currently reside in California
