Job Summary
Driving the development of legal and compliance frameworks for AI initiatives, the full-time California Licensed AI Legal Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance while fostering responsible AI innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI legal and compliance frameworks aligned with emerging regulations and industry standards
- Participate in cross-functional reviews to identify legal risks and opportunities in AI projects
- Create and maintain AI governance documentation and processes for legal compliance validation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML initiatives
- Strong understanding of emerging AI regulations and their practical implementation
- Experience developing legal frameworks for AI governance
- Proven track record of partnering with technical teams to implement legal requirements in AI systems
- Understanding of IP considerations in AI development, including training data rights and model ownership
