California Licensed Air Quality Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Air Quality Consultant will manage complex air quality projects, ensure compliance with CEQA and other environmental regulations, and provide expert guidance to clients while working remotely from California.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage air quality assessments and impact analyses for various projects
• Prepare and review technical reports, including air quality impact assessments and mitigation plans
• Conduct air quality modeling and provide expert advice on regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in air quality consulting, focusing on CEQA and regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of air quality regulations, including CEQA and the Clean Air Act
• Proficiency in air quality modeling software (e.g., AERMOD, CalEEMod)
• Professional certifications (e.g., QEP, PE) are a plus
