California Licensed Alcohol Counselor
Job Summary
To support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the part-time California Licensed Alcohol Counselor will provide individualized coaching, develop care plans, and facilitate evidence-based interventions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions through video/phone calls and app-based communication
- Monitor health outcomes and manage a caseload of members, ensuring high engagement and quality experiences
Required qualifications
- Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor (e.g., CADC, AADC) recognized by the IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS or MA degree preferred
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth applications
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
