Job Summary

To ensure optimal patient outcomes and resource utilization, the part-time California Licensed Appeals RN will manage patient admissions remotely, collaborating with medical staff and monitoring clinical and financial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specific patients throughout their admission to optimize resource availability
• Communicate daily with medical staff and external resources to ensure appropriate resource utilization
• Monitor medical records for variances and intervene to achieve optimal outcomes

Required qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• 2 years of acute nursing experience or case management experience preferred
• Environmental Orientation training due within 30 days of hire
• Case Management Competency training due within 90 days of hire
• General Nurse Competency training due within 30 days of hire
