California Licensed Applications Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applications Engineer to support the sales force with applications, proposals, and order management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and prepare comprehensive proposals
• Select optimal pumps using in-house software and manage order processing
• Provide technical support to customers and interface with vendors for quotes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment, ideally pumps
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
• Knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems is preferred
• Familiarity with the municipal tender process is preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office and pump selection software
