California Licensed ASL Instructor

Job Summary

To support language education initiatives, the part-time California Licensed ASL Instructor will deliver lessons, conduct assessments, and provide student support in a remote setting, ensuring adherence to Berlitz teaching principles.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons tailored to the goals and interests of students while adhering to Berlitz teaching principles
• Conduct level assessments and needs analyses as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
• Maintain student records and participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills

Required qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the US
• Four-year college/university degree or equivalent
• Fluent in American Sign Language
• Flexible working hours, with availability during weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
