Job Summary
Managing financial and commercial aspects of distributed and community solar projects, the full-time California Licensed Asset Manager will oversee P&L management, ensure compliance with project agreements, and lead operational management while working in a hybrid role based in San Diego.
Key responsibilities
- Manage P&L and cash position for all generating assets, reviewing performance and developing strategies to maximize value
- Ensure compliance with project obligations and manage relationships with customers, partners, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee third-party Operations & Maintenance providers and conduct performance analysis of solar projects
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in asset management or related roles within the energy industry
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of technical solar project details and renewable financial models
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
