California Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive California Licensed Assistant Controller, the full-time position in Cerritos, CA will manage core accounting functions, oversee financial reporting and consolidations, and mentor a global team while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage multi-entity financial consolidations and oversee revenue cycle integrity
• Perform journal entries and complex reconciliations while maintaining cash flow forecasts
• Provide mentorship to the India-based accounting team and standardize operational processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a related role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in healthcare or multi-entity environments is a plus
