California Licensed Assistant Controller
Job Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the remote California Licensed Assistant Controller will oversee financial statement reporting in compliance with GAAP, manage year-end audits, and prepare tax statements while ensuring effective internal controls and accounting practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all accounting complies with GAAP, including evaluation of accounts receivable and liabilities
- Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable team
- Generate GAAP and cash basis financial statements for profit distribution and tax preparation
Required qualifications:
- CPA/CMA certification with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of US tax code and partnership tax
- Experience in the health care industry
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
