California Licensed Assistant General Counsel
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to lead its commercial contracting function and provide legal advice across various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-house commercial legal functions and manage complex negotiations
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, focusing on SaaS and related contracts
- Support sales and customer success teams in contract negotiations and provide tactical legal advice
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience
- 6+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing of at least one state Bar
- Working knowledge of privacy laws, including CCPA and GLBA
