California Licensed Assistant Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team in repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, the full-time California Licensed Assistant Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations primarily focused on conveyor systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance team members, ensuring departmental goals and objectives are met
• Develop and implement standards and work procedures while maintaining positive customer and employee relations
• Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field, or equivalent management experience (minimum 3 years)
• Capability to obtain CMRP / ICML MLT 1 certification
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts and boom lifts
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends
