California Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney with a focus on Municipal Law, ideally with experience in advising municipalities and government entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to municipalities on issues such as land use, zoning, and public contracts
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ordinances, and legal documents
• Represent municipalities in litigation and administrative proceedings

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal law
• Proven experience advising public entities, including cities and counties
• Strong litigation skills with the ability to effectively argue cases
