Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney with 3+ years of insurance defense experience, preferably in employment defense, the full-time position offers a hybrid flexible work environment where the attorney will manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing case strategies and mentoring junior attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case strategies that drive results and challenge mediocrity
- Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, contributing to team growth and success
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of California
- 3-7 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation
- 2+ years employment defense experience strongly preferred
- Prior insurance defense experience preferred
