Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney, the full-time hybrid position will manage toxic tort and products liability litigation, handling all case aspects from inception to resolution, while collaborating with a diverse range of clients and team members.
Key responsibilities
- Handle legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery for litigation cases
- Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and participate in trials as needed
- Interface directly with clients and opposing counsel, ensuring effective communication throughout the legal process
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Current admission to the California State Bar
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation within a law firm environment
- Skilled in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Experience with depositions, arguing motions, and attending mediations is preferred
