Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney for a full-time hybrid position in Encinitas, California, who will manage a variety of civil litigation matters, including wrongful death, personal injury, and business disputes, from inception to resolution while collaborating with a skilled litigation team.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation cases, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery
- Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and participate in trials as necessary
- Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to achieve successful outcomes
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability, construction, and personal injury cases
- Current admission to the California State Bar
- Experience in preparing pleadings, drafting motions, and taking depositions
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus
