California Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney for a full-time hybrid position in Encinitas, California, who will manage a variety of civil litigation matters, including wrongful death, personal injury, and business disputes, from inception to resolution while collaborating with a skilled litigation team.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of litigation cases, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery
• Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and participate in trials as necessary
• Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to achieve successful outcomes

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability, construction, and personal injury cases
• Current admission to the California State Bar
• Experience in preparing pleadings, drafting motions, and taking depositions
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus
