Job Summary
To support a national construction defect defense practice, the full-time California Licensed Associate Attorney will manage complex litigation matters remotely, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for trial alongside a collaborative team.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Managing and responding to written discovery and conducting legal research
- Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness preparation, and trial strategy
Required qualifications
- Active license to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 2+ years of experience practicing law on the defense side, with prior construction defect defense experience
- Experience with civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team operating on Pacific Time
