California Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

To support a national construction defect defense practice, the full-time California Licensed Associate Attorney will manage complex litigation matters remotely, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for trial alongside a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Managing and responding to written discovery and conducting legal research
• Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness preparation, and trial strategy

Required qualifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 2+ years of experience practicing law on the defense side, with prior construction defect defense experience
• Experience with civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team operating on Pacific Time
