Job Summary
To support a diverse legal team, the full-time California Licensed Associate Attorney will manage moderately complex civil litigation and workers' compensation cases, providing legal advice and utilizing technology to enhance efficiency while working primarily remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and drafting legal documents
- Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to clients, maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication
- Utilize e-discovery and case management technologies to streamline legal processes and collaborate with remote team members
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in California and in good standing
- General knowledge of insurance law, workers' compensation, and/or No Fault law
- Proficiency in e-discovery and case management systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception to resolution under supervision
