Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney in a full-time hybrid role, the successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters including commercial and contract disputes, general liability, and catastrophic injury claims while collaborating with a talented team and receiving mentorship from experienced partners.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of litigation matters involving commercial disputes, general liability, and wrongful death claims
- Prepare pleadings, draft motions and legal briefs, and manage discovery processes
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and represent clients in court appearances
Required qualifications
- Current admission to the California State Bar
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience, particularly in general liability and commercial disputes
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Experience in taking and defending depositions, with arbitration or trial experience preferred
- Ability to supervise law clerks and junior associates is a plus
