Job Summary
To support a growing litigation team, the full-time California Licensed Associate Attorney will manage case strategies, court appearances, and client communications while gaining valuable mentorship and practical experience in civil defense litigation, including construction defect and premises liability cases.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case strategies and manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients while nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team growth and success
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of California
- 1-8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial
- Prior insurance defense experience preferred
