Job Summary

Supporting corporate governance and compliance functions, the full-time California Licensed Associate Counsel will manage entity lifecycle, prepare legal documents, and provide legal guidance across a multi-jurisdictional space-technology business in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Support corporate governance and maintain accurate corporate records for entities in the U.S., Luxembourg, and the Netherlands
  • Manage statutory compliance and coordinate filings with local corporate service providers and external counsel
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial and corporate agreements, providing practical legal guidance to internal teams
Required qualifications
  • A law degree and qualification to practice as a lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction (e.g., J.D. and bar admission in the U.S.)
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a reputable law firm, focusing on corporate and compliance matters
  • Strong contract management and drafting skills, with experience in formal contract management systems
  • Solid knowledge of corporate law and governance, with an interest in compliance frameworks in a multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal audiences
