Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Associate Counsel, the fully remote position will advise business leaders on insurance regulatory and corporate legal matters, provide guidance on compliance issues, and draft and negotiate commercial agreements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise business leaders on insurance regulatory and corporate legal matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with Product, Claims, Compliance, and Actuarial teams to support compliant insurance offerings
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 5-10 years of legal experience in Insurance Law, Regulatory Compliance, Corporate Governance, or Corporate Transactions
- Deep understanding of personal auto insurance products and regulatory frameworks
- Experience advising cross-functional business partners and executive leadership
