California Licensed Associate Dean

Job Summary

Supporting the Dean in advancing the vision and strategic plan of the institution, the full-time California Licensed Associate Dean in the School of Education will manage academic programs, oversee faculty and staff, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum revisions and ensure alignment with accreditation standards and program quality
• Manage faculty staffing, performance evaluations, and promote professional development opportunities
• Coordinate academic program operations and represent the School on internal committees and external partnerships

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in education or a closely related field; terminal degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of online teaching experience in higher education
• At least three years of experience in online program and course development
• Experience in the administration of online higher education programs
• Proven ability to work effectively with non-traditional and adult learners
