California Licensed Associate Dean of Nursing

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Dean of Nursing to provide strategic academic leadership and foster innovation in nursing education.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for nursing programs in alignment with the school's mission and accreditation standards
• Lead the nursing academic unit and mentor Academic Program Directors
• Develop and manage the academic unit's budget and ensure compliance with standards

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree required in a relevant discipline (DNP, PhD, EdD)
• Master's degree in nursing required
• Unencumbered registered nursing license required; California license preferred
• 5+ years of experience supervising faculty/staff and 8+ years of full-time teaching in higher education required
• Experience with state and/or national nursing accreditation processes required
