Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Engineer in Riverside, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical reports, letters, and memos for transportation projects
• Produce design elements related to transportation projects in accordance with standards
• Calculate quantities, prepare engineering estimates, and conduct preliminary field investigations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• 2 years of work experience in assistant engineer for transportation design or related occupation
• Expertise in preparing documentation for highway design and roadway engineering
• Proficiency in CAD drafting using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Open Roads Designer
• Understanding of federal and local government rules and standards for highway design in California
