California Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel - Commercial Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to facility clients involved in pre-litigation disputes and litigation
• Manage and negotiate pre-litigation disputes related to contracts and commercial issues
• Retain and manage external counsel in litigation matters and support all phases of litigation

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in good standing with the State Bar
• Five to ten years of experience in business and commercial real estate litigation
• Strong understanding of commercial litigation processes and best practices
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
