California Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full commercial deal cycle, including negotiation and closing of complex enterprise transactions
• Develop commercial legal infrastructure such as playbooks, escalation frameworks, and template libraries
• Advise senior leadership on commercial deal strategy and mentor junior legal team members

Required Qualifications

• JD and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction
• 8+ years of technology transactions experience, with at least 4+ years in a B2B SaaS environment
• Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience, including 1 year in a leadership capacity
• Proven ability to manage a full commercial deal cycle independently
• Experience in building or scaling commercial legal infrastructure and mentoring junior team members
