Job Summary

Leading initiatives to transform legal support for a global cloud software leader, the full-time California Licensed Associate General Counsel will streamline service delivery, implement modern contracting strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional leaders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Transform contracting models, workflows, and department processes for optimal efficiency and scale
• Implement a modern contracting strategy for streamlined end-to-end contracting processes
• Develop and maintain transactional infrastructure governance policies and serve as a trusted advisor on complex legal and business issues

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in-house/public sector legal department
• 5+ years of in-house legal experience focusing on commercial transactions
• 5+ years of experience in modern contract drafting and legal transformation initiatives
• J.D. Degree and membership in at least one state bar
• Deep understanding of commercial contracting needs for a Fortune 500 cloud software provider
