California Licensed Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Attorney to handle Workers' Compensation cases remotely from California.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive legal research
• Create and present defense strategies on behalf of clients
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, and trial briefs autonomously

Required Qualifications and Education

• JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in California
• Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience for Staff Attorney; 5 years for Senior Staff Attorney
• Trial experience preferred but not required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Lexis Nexis is a plus
