Leading key internal audit initiatives, the remote contract California Licensed Audit Analyst will manage project planning, oversee audit schedules and budgets, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality audit reports ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned audit projects
- Develop comprehensive audit programs, perform testing, and review project risk assessments and work papers
- Prepare clear, actionable audit reports for stakeholders while upholding professional auditing standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of audit or related business experience, including at least 2 years in project management
- Strong healthcare industry background is highly preferred
- Proven expertise in internal auditing, project management, and executive-level report writing
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
