California Licensed Audit Analyst

Job Summary

Leading key internal audit initiatives, the remote contract California Licensed Audit Analyst will manage project planning, oversee audit schedules and budgets, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality audit reports ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned audit projects
• Develop comprehensive audit programs, perform testing, and review project risk assessments and work papers
• Prepare clear, actionable audit reports for stakeholders while upholding professional auditing standards

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of audit or related business experience, including at least 2 years in project management
• Strong healthcare industry background is highly preferred
• Proven expertise in internal auditing, project management, and executive-level report writing
• Bachelor's degree required
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
