California Licensed Audit Manager

Job Summary

Leading the planning, execution, and reporting of risk-based audits, the fully remote California Licensed Audit Manager will ensure compliance with professional standards while providing strategic counsel on risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing an annual risk-based internal audit plan aligned with organizational objectives
• Plan and lead complex attest engagements, ensuring adherence to standards from planning through reporting
• Evaluate internal control systems and risk management practices, providing recommendations for improvement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive external audit experience, including team leadership and managing attest engagements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university
• Professional certification required: CPA or other relevant certifications
• In-depth knowledge of internal auditing standards and risk assessment techniques
• Understanding of data analytics tools and techniques used in auditing
