California Licensed Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automation Engineer who provides administrative and technical oversight of Building Automation Systems (BAS) in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Updating and maintaining BAS/BMS documentation, including SOPs and lifecycle deliverables
• Authoring and executing validation documentation and managing BAS-related change records
• Coordinating routine BAS maintenance activities and supporting cross-functional communication

Qualifications and Requirements

• BS/MS in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field preferred
• Experience with BMS/EMS platforms, particularly Siemens Desigo
• Background in GMP documentation, validation, and CSV/SDLC processes
• Familiarity with BAS operations in biotech or pharmaceutical environments
• Understanding of BAS/BMS system structure and skilled in managing controlled documents
